Posted by Jose Mendes - portimaobasket@hotmail.com on May 24, 2005 01:55 AM Very good DVD series I've just seen the 3 series DVD's and I think they explain well how can a youth coach teach the principles of the triangle offense. I coach a U-14 team in Portugal that is 40-10 in 3 yars. We use a 5-open motion offense and I wanted to incorporate some new ideas in our system. Now with some very simple concepts that I took from the DVD's we can alternate from our basic youth motion system to the triangle offense without having to develop a new system. Just be creative and keep it simple for the kids. Don't forget: if they can't shoot, pass, drible and pivot don't expect them to win, teach the fundamentals first and be patient.
